Men of War: Vietnam is a new game in the critically acclaimed series. Two new, story-driven campaigns let you taste the explosive mix of the jungle, Hueys and rock-n-roll in early 1968.

The US campaign focuses on a team of elite special ops soldiers, and each one of them has a personality. The unit includes Sergeant John Merrill, machinegunner Jim Walsh, sniper Sonny Armstrong, grenade launcher operator Carl Dillan and combat engineer Bill Kirby. In some missions they can count only on themselves, while in the others they act together with regular US and South-Vietnamese troops.

The North Vietnam campaign tells the story of two Soviet military consultants and two soldiers of the North Vietnam Army who are the only survivors of an ambush prepared by the US troops. The task of getting back to the North Vietnam territory is a difficult one – they have no means of radio communication, no wheeled vehicles, and it’s too far to make it there on foot. On their way these survivors get involved in a chain of bloodbath engagements and find themselves in the dead center of the well-known Tet offensive.

Missions range from special operations to full scale battles.

REVIEW

Hollywood’s Tech -

This band kicks a**!   The songs were created by talented composers Justin Call, Daren Call, and Sean Arata who also share the vocals on each song.  You will never forget this band’s name or their music.
I have been listening non-stop to this album and you will enjoy these songs too.

They are young,  powerful and entertaining.  Downstait is a band that holds nothing back in the studio or on the stage.   Their songwriting reflects their unique blend of modern rock and shows that this band has talent and ability beyond their years.

They have the thunder of Godsmack, Sevendust and Adelitas Way and the melodies of Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin and Crossfade.   One song even sounds like the Hollywood Undead.
My review of this album is two thumbs up!!    Hell, 10 out of 10 stars!

I hope this band will be creating a lot more of their unique types of pitch and tempo with their rhythmic and lyrical songs.   All the songs on this album are my favorites.   That shows how this album rocks on!

World Wrestling Entertainment contacted this band to record a theme for The Miz which is called “I Came to Play”(studio and album version)*.
This band is off to a great start by being recognized by the WWE.  Hopefully they are going to the top of the Billboard charts very soon.

Similar artists are Adelitas Way, Stealing Eden, 24 Black, Lock 13, The Leo Project, Stare Down the Sun and Watt White.

*Due to WWE copyrights this song was not released on the album nor was the MTV Bully Beatdown Theme called “Beat Down”.    But this does not stop you from buying the single from iTunes and getting WWE: The Music Volume 10 which includes the song “I Came to Play”.

This Game is Available for The Xbox 360, Both Playstation Systems and including the portable system, Wii and Nintendo DS. WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 Release on October 20, 2009

Reviewed by Hollywood’s Tech

October 25, 2009 – I’ve Witness over the Past Years, That THQ has published more of this Franchise called WWE Smackdown titles and that every year they Top It, Improved it tremendously. I However Can’t Deny That I’m the Biggest Wrestling Fan of The Games and Television Programming….

As A Person and Fan, I’ve purchase These Titles ever Since they Debut on the Playstation now that Next-Gen Consoles Have Rise. I can play this game on my Xbox 360 and Enjoy the NEW Features that WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 Offers to Players like (Road to Wrestlemania – That made an comeback with Six Story Driven – Character Specific Storylines that feature C-A-S and 1st Ever Divas Storyline, and Of Course Highlight Reel – with New Top Moments to be added to make your own Great Video to share on the Internet with thousands of Other Players Around the World and Many More New Features….

The Biggest Game of The Year is this one for the Fighting/Wrestling Genre, and now that it Features….

WWE Story Designer – That Let Players become the Director of their Own Storylines with the help of this mode you can Type whatever you like and The PS3, and Xbox 360 – Supports USB Keyboards also.

As Well with Another Nice Feature is Superstar Threads – For the 1st Time in this Franchise, THQ and Yukes allows you to Create Alternate Ring Attire for superstars as well as the divas & C-A-S by customizing their Top shirt to the Boots and other Customizing Clothing.

With that said Create-A-Superstar just got bigger with the REDESIGN of C-A-S; This Interface comes with A New Look, and Improved Graphical Quality, as Well as the New Paint Tool that Takes Your Creation to another Step further with detailing created superstars with your own Original Tattoos, Logos and Other Unique Designs.

Now let’s get to the nice Detail Part of all the New Features Listed Above and So Many too….

I had fun playing around with the Training Facility that is built to replace the boring menu Background that lets you practice around the ring to get to know the New Controls that’re made easy, still has the menu but got improved a lot better, and Love the Road to Wrestlemania However There is Graphical Corruption Issues that appear in the storylines of Mickie James and Shawn “HBK” Michaels Story.

There is Still Issues with Clipping but However Havok Engine improves Collision Still Makes this Game Worthwhile to play…… and of course there is some technical issues that rise to this game is if playing in Hell in an Cell match like (I.E of Playing with Undertaker and Choke Slamming someone though the announcer’s table the opponent goes underneath the table and never comes back and you fall under the cell while above after performing the move.)

Still I However I can’t Wait until Next Year to Review another Title by THQ and Yukes.
Congrats to Them and With a New Year Approaching………

So My Overall Score is 8.5/10 hopefully there is a patch that will conquer these issues that is stated above.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Thanks to Jaime and THQ For this Review Copy Best Wishes to THQ in developing more Wrestling Genre and Hopefully Maybe they can Add More Legends like Ric Flair, The Rock (Here comes the Pain version with the Samoa tattoo on his left shoulder), And Great Others…. That reaches this Hall of Fame. Wish there is more I can write but come on that is enough review. Maybe New Year’s THQ WWE Game will be longer review to read Hopefully This Will Do.

Thanks………

Baseball Slugger Review for iPhone and iPod Touch

This is not your regular 9th inning game, Baseball Slugger is more like an Home Run Derby type of game. So the Question is How Many can you hit!

Now on to the Graphics seems to be alright, just need to make the players stand out more.
As far as the Background an Scenes go i think they’re 100% great! Not Much to Say about this game then to stated what it comes with which is?

You must hit as many home runs as possible before a number of outs is achieved. Simple goal, but Baseball Slugger shines in 3 different areas that make it a great game: 1) Gameplay, with 2) Online realtime multiplayer and 3) Customizations aka Upgrades.

To make or break aspect of all games is the controls mechanic, and sports games are particularly sensitive to this aspect. In the end you are substituting some combination of buttons and directions to emulate an actual batting swing. You’ve and I seen various types of controls attempted, but Baseball Slugger’s system seems to work. Batting uses the accelerometer to aim your bat at the pitch. Different types of pitches will break differently and you need to be able to anticipate and properly aim at where the ball is coming from. When the moment comes, you simply tap on the screen to swing. Tap too soon or too late and your ball will fly into foul territory.

Next, Baseball Slugger offers real-time head-to-head online multiplayer over both Wi-Fi and Cellular connections. You can pick “Matchup” from the menu and find yourself a random player to compete against him or her. Baseball Slugger also contains a “rival” list in which you can add your friends to.
Different matchup rooms are offering different skill sets so you can try to match up with someone that’s ranked almost the same as you.

Once the match starts, your opponent’s game is inset into the top right of your screen (like picture-in-picture). The goal is to get your score bar filled before your opponent can. Home runs, obviously, fill the bar faster. You can keep an eye on your opponent’s progress and also see his hits and misses in real time. Special balls (gold balls, multipliers, etc…) appear at random times and can help boost your score and at least one ball can directly affect your opponent (blurs his/her perspective) — that is, assuming you can hit the home run :) . The match ends when the first player fills their score bar. Multiplayer really adds a lot of long term playability to this game.

The final nice component to the game is an extensive customization system. The official count is 114 items and more maybe with an update! Who knows what Com2uS Has in stored for us. these upgrades can be used to equip or customize your player. This can include physical changes such as hair, face, skin, uniform, shoes etc… but also equipment upgrades such as bats, gloves, and helmets. Besides making you look more intimidating, the upgrades also improve your abilities which should improve your game performance. The only way to earn these items is to keep playing and earning more gold with each game you play.

And Now to Sound obviously you can make your own playlist with your music and the default music it is alright….

So My Gameplay Rating is 4.5/5 and Replayable Value is an 4.5/5
with Overall Score is 5/5.

So Go Buy It What’re you Waiting for an New Update Ur SLOW GO NOW!!!!!! BTW IT IS ON SALE!!!!!

Genre : Sports, Arcade
Price : $4.99 > $0.99

Gameplay:
Nice to play an Excellent Tower Defense Game game created by Origins8
That Takes the Tower Defense Genre to an Whole New Level.

When playing this game I couldn’t stop to write my review haha, But an job has to be done. What Origins8 Created was an Excellent Tower Defense game ever built on the iPhone/iPod Touch. It was worth the $0.99 but my friends over at Origins let me have it for FREE! I Specially Like To Thank Them for the codes. Also Sentinel 2 Review is coming soon!

You’ll Have to Organize and build your defense quickly to ward off waves of oncoming enemy troops. At your disposal are weapons in the following categories: Lasers, Bombs, Beam, and Sniper. Weapons have varying degrees of influence but all can be upgraded, granted you have the cash. That’s right; all weapons require funding to purchase. Acquire funds for every alien troop defeated. Cash can also purchase repair drones — a must have once you begin to retain damage.

Sentinel has sufficient amount of alien types. Arachnids are insect-like troops that move fast but are pretty weak. Mutants are more durable robotic soldiers that move at mediocre speed. In the same speed and strength class are Winged Parasites. These can only be defeated with surface-to-air weaponry. Another enemy is only defined as Slow Walkers. These huge beings move at a snail’s pace but require tons of force to bring them down. If enemies succeed in defeating your structures, they will reach your base and then its game over for you. On the upside, you have up to 120 waves to overcome them.

However Sentinel has Surprisingly Offers Excellent Gameplay, and If you like these types of games. It also show the game in Aerial View, which is great to Zoom-In like you do with the (Safari web browser). But the Sound is great, Really wish that Origins8 thought about introducing the Access Music option they gave us in the Sentinel 2 and The Score music is nice to hear as well.

Gameplay Rating:
3.5 Rating_WHT
(Because Really Where Are you going to find an Tower Defense game like this for iPhone/iPod Touch)

Sound:

Alien creatures have infested the micro-landscape of your space lab and it’s up to you to stop them from destroying your ship. Using the distinctly unique Space Ball, the only weapon capable of taking on these crazy creatures, you will try and Knockem all out before they enter the ships main transporter, the red Warp Zone.

This game is designed primarily for kids, but does however have an addictive nature to it that even teenagers and adults will find engaging.

Knockem is one of the only games in the App Store to feature Bomboosh, Blue Flame, Gloomy, Pearl, Eggy, and the one and only Spange. Knockem all out today!

How to get the game:

You can download Knockem directly to your iPhone
or iPod Touch via the App Store on your device. Simply search for eBattalion or Knockem. Alternatively you can download the game from iTunes with this link.

Visit eBattalion for more…

Gameplay:
When reviewing this game, there is 1 object to use your finger to throw the space ball and to hit the 3 enemies while attempting to drain them of there health. Before they reach the goal which is the Red Box (Shown Below)
IMG_0068IMG_0071

HINT: If you see an character like the one below hit him with the ball and He will then take out the others saving you time.
IMG_0074IMG_0075

And Very Important is Kids will love the repetitive fun and Knockem is here to do just that! Knockem is a very simple game which could definitely keep the kids engaged for a long time.

Sound, Controls, Re-playable Value:
When listening to the music it sounds like pop techno type of music more like piano music and If you don’t like it play your own music then.
Controls are Very Easy to learn and Re-Playable Value is Definitely there for the kids.

Graphics:
Graphic Designer did was amazing job to make the Characters really standout.

Pros:
* Repetitive fun for kids
* Nice graphics

Cons:
* Global High Score is missing, Like to see that in the Next Update.
* as well for Power-ups for the Space Ball could be added too.

My Overall Rating is
3.5 Stars Rating

Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition Review – iPhone/iPod Touch

resident4
So the game starts with a video showing Cinematics and Showing Some Gameplay.

Ok, Very Creepy Voice starts to say “Resident Evil 4”, Supposedly the game wants you to be scared. At First the Menu Shows Two Options to chose from Start Game and Option.

I’ve Chosen Start Game, now it shows Story Mode that lists all the Chapters that you’ve completed. Therefore the 1st Chapter is Bloodthirsty, the Caption of the game states “The Nightmare begins! Leon, infiltrating the village. As he takes on the Ganados.

So I Tap the Check Button on Screen to begin the game, Here pops up text instead the video showing to introduce the town,  basically before the previously versions of this game had that video. Whereas the Mobile Edition cut the video out of gameplay but keeps the images with texts telling about to mission that Leon has to Rescue the President’s Daughter, He now works as Secret Service Agent.

So after reading and looking at the Images, You’re Place at the village instead the PS2/PC Versions showing, Where you get drop off by the Police Officers then making your way to an small house. When you arrival at the House you see an shadow, So you enter the door then you see an man which seems to have been showing Disorderly Behavioral comes rushing  Towards you with an Axe, So you’ve to tell STOP IF NOT YOU’LL SHOOT! Well you shoot anyways, and then you know what happens after that if you played the PC/PS2 Versions of RE4.

So let me get back on track to RE4 Mobile Edition! So the graphics were nice saying that this is mobile, it is reasonable to believe that Low-End Graphics plays a part. Now to Controls, Controls were Easy to handle if you played the 1st Game of RE Degeneration on your iPod Touch or iPhone.  Remember You Can’t Run nor Walk while shooting. So you’re precisely standing there still shooting at the enemies. Don’t Worried you’ll a Knife with you, so if you run out of ammo good chance you can slash them.

Also Breaking out of the Enemy’s Arms is tapping the break out symbol, showing in the video that is provided.

So My Final Thoughts on this game is 6.6 out of 10 Rating, Depending on who plays it. For The Price of $7.99, I Believe, Not Bad Price. So for a Game like these and others that shares the similarities Well Worth It.

Oh… When you’re in the Town/Village, Make sure you got ammo  and Beware of the Chainsaw Dude.

Thanks to Mobiltelefon.ru for the video.
